Achievements and Awards

1.   Awarded the VATAT Fellowship for Outstanding Post-doctoral Researchers from China and India by the Council of Higher Education, Govt. of Israel in May 2013.

 2.   Awarded the Dean of Faculty Postdoctoral Fellowship by the deans of faculties of Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, based on academic excellence and merit, in February 2013.

 3.   Received Indian Physics Association’s Anil and Bharti Bhatnagar Best PhD Thesis Award  in the 56th  DAE Solid State Physics Symposium organized by Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, at SRM University, Kattankulathur, Thamilnadu, India, in 2011.

 4.   Awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and declared eligible for lectureship in Physical Sciences on the basis of National Eligibility Test (NET), jointly conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC),  India. 

 5.   Secured place among the top 20% of JRF (NET) awardees on the basis of the performance in the NET 2005 and subsequently short listed for Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (SPM) Fellowship test in 2006.

 6.   Received an offer of appointment to the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee from Electronic Corporation of India Limited - a Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), the Govt. of India undertaking, on the basis of the screening test and the interview in 2005.
